A unique concept from the author of "Polska" cookbook - A Slavic Tale is a vegetarian supper club serving Polish and East European food at a magical flower shop in Hither Green (just 10min from London Bridge).
Kick off the Christmas season the Polish way! You will be treated to 5 seasonal, vegetarian courses inspired by Slavic traditions, a welcome cocktail and some extra Christmassy treats and surprises.
Zuza always uses local, organic ingredients where possible. Please bring your own wine/beer.
Menu:
-Snowflake cocktail
-Rye crispbreads with fermented beetroot “gzik”
-Warsaw-style borscht with green “little ears” #dumplings
-Fermented purple cabbage “Bigos”, white beans with crispy onion, potato “placek”
-Traditional poppyseed roll
-Spiked dried fruit “kompot”
-Dark chocolate and prune truffles
